The location is perfect because you are close to Palma, have some facilities nearby (gas station, supermarkets) but you are completely isolated so it feels like you have the mountain to yourself.

¨A group of 11 of us stayed at villa Sa Tafona for four days to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was a true delight!! The house is perfectly located if you want to be close to Palma and its restaurants and nightlife (about a 22 minute drive) while still being able to explore the beaches in the northern part of the island. The view of the mountains from the terrace and the pool is breathtaking. We ended up spending a lot more time at the house than anticipated because the property was too stunning to leave. Tania was incredibly responsive in the days and weeks leading up to our arrival, offering to arrange transportation, a private chef if we wanted, a boat rental and sent her own list of recommendations for activities on the island. During our stay, Tania responded within minutes to any questions we had. Her brother, Raul, was a very attentive caretaker who was present throughout the weekend, so if you're expecting total privacy that's not entirely the case. This might be off-putting to some guests (which is why i mention it), but it was helpful that he was there to answer our questions and to turn on the BBQ for us because it would have been impossible for us to figure that out on our own. We had only two minor critiques: the first is that the two apartments (the one above the main house and the standalone structure) each had a bit of a musty smell of old cigarettes (this could probably be addressed by an aroma diffuser) and second, that while the listing represents that there's Air con, those units are only in the living room of the main house. Still, we made do with ceiling fans in those rooms without AC. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely look to rent the property if we ever find ourselves in Mallorca again."

¨We have just returned from this beautiful place following a family 60th Birthday get together . The finca was well equipped for the 10 of us with everything you need . It's position is perfect being private but not isolated . The swimming pool and grounds were lovely ,so well cared for by Tania's brother . We all enjoyed several games of Padel which was a real bonus for the sporty ones in our group . It takes a moderate walk to the nearest village to enjoy a meal out or a coffee ( very nice ) or you can drive 10 minutes to Palma , which we did for food shopping and wine ! .
The service Tania and her family provided was second to none . She arranged a birthday party BBQ for us , ( great food cooked by Tania's husband ) as well as booking horse riding , and airport transfers for some of our party. We only had to ask and it was all sorted out for us , just what you need when you are on your hols . If you are looking for a property big enough for a family party , or wedding look no further . Add on the excellent service and here you have the perfect package.¨

¨Staying at Sa Tafona was lovely, the location is perfect if you want to be close enough to Palma and town to get out and about but not in the full hustle. The finca is truly beautiful, you can sit and enjoy the gardens in the shade or by the pool. The house is very well stocked for complete self catering, and their are great shops in the village. Tania provided heaps of information in advance and during our stay, we were 11 girls for the weekend, she advised on restaurants, bars and organised a fantastic spa day for us on the Sunday. All in all i couldn't fault our stay at all - just lush!

Padel tennis in the garden and you can also play at night. House, garden and pool is very nice and easily takes 9-10 persons. The main house is an old olive mill. A lot of different sitting areas around the house and well equipped kitchen. Everything was perfect and my 8 colleagues liked it from day 1. "One of the most beautiful gardens and views at Mallorca. Downhill also a small road where you can take a walk and be near nature with all birds and all the time the fantastic view. The host and Raul who checked us in was very friendly and responds quickly.
In October we needed to put fire in the fireplace to warm the house and it is a bit colder this high up in the mountains than in Palma. Good to know is that you don't have 4G/5G so you can only use the mobilephone inside the house connected to wifi. The compressor for electricity is on quite often and is a little bit disturbing but otherwise we really had fantastic days!"

"Die Unterkunft hat uns in AirBnB sofort angesprochen und wir mußten nach unserer Ankunft dort feststellen, dass es in Realität noch viel schöner ist als auf den Bildern. Das Haus hat einen besonderen Charme mit seinen vielen besonderen, im Haus verteilten "Schmuckstücken" wie alten Bügeleisen, Uhren, Vogelkäfigen und vielem mehr. Ebenso entdeckt man im Außenbereich viele "Hinterlassenschaften" die einem den Eindruck von einem liebevoll drapierten Chaos vermitteln. Natürlich darf der sensationelle Ausblick auf das Meer aus einer Höhe von ca. 300m nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Das Frühstück und auch die Abendessen bekamen, auf der Terrasse verköstigt, dadurch eine besondere Würze. Ein weiteres "Highlight" ist natürlich der schöne Pool, von dem man ebenso den Blick über das Meer schweifen lassen kann."

“Raul who looks after the property was incredibly helpful and offered lots of help ahead of our arrival. The finca is in the most incredible location and a haven. I don't think I have ever been anywhere quite so perfect. The sun sets across from the house and the owner has designed a sun downer spot which is beautiful. The house had everything we needed and was clean and totally manageable. The local village Estellences is great for eating and drinking. If you are going to cook then a stop in the supermarket on the way is best. This part of Mallorca is totally unspoilt and perfect for a relaxing break and I would return in an instant. ”

"This newly renovated house is situated in a beautiful town high in the Tramuntana mountains. Once the day tourists have left, there is a very local, Spanish feel to the town in the evenings, which is exactly what we were looking for. The house has been expertly renovated and maintains the charm of the traditional architecture of the island. Rooms are spacious and the top terrace room (enclosed) provides an excellent views of the valley and the town. Communication was very easy and Raul and Tania provided support where needed throughout our stay. Raul was great with providing tips of places to visit, eat etc.... and both always responded within a matter of minutes. With this being a very old traditional Mallorcan town house, do not expect any outdoor space other than a small internal courtyard (which was great for drying clothes/towels). Also, whilst there is a free parking area a 100m from the house, we only used it once, when we arrived. The road to and from is incredibly narrow and not suitable for most hire cars (or British driving abilities!). For parking during a stay, we would recommend leaving your car on the other side of town either in the public car park (for around €6 per day between 10am and 8pm) or for free a few hundred yards further away near the football pitch. Overall, a great house in a fabulous location with friendly and efficient support from the hosts, Tania and Raul."

The house is spacious super well maintaned and epuiped with everything you need for holiday . The "Gardener is passing by every second day with new fruits checking on pool and house . It's a great please for families with kids ”

"Perfecta ubicación , ideal para niños ,piscina dentro de la urbanización , acceso directo a la playa o zona de roca para darte un baño en el mar. El apartamento es amplio para 4 personas , decorado con buen gusto y la terraza tiene unas vistas preciosas.

Hemos pasado unas vacaciones estupendas. Dar las gracias a Mallorca10 y a Teresa, que en todo momento han estado pendientes de cualquier cosa que pudiéramos necesitar."
